How to add mascots widgets to CarPlay
- Design your mascots widget in CarTheme.
- On your iPhone, open Settings → General → CarPlay and select your car.
- Tap Widgets → Add Widget and choose your CarTheme widget.
- Swipe right on the CarPlay screen to see it live.

What is a mascot widget?
A pixel-art car character that lives on your CarPlay and iPhone screen, reacts to taps with different moods, and sits in a scene that changes with time of day and weather.
Do the mascots really react?
Yes — tapping cycles the mascot’s mood, and the scene updates on its own with the clock and local weather. It’s a little tamagotchi-style companion for the car.
